An Inspiring Evening

An Inspiring Evening
It was an absolute pleasure to have guest speaker, Guy Haddleton, entertain and inspire TBBA members at the April BMW evening hosted at BNZ Takapuna, with hospitality provided by Jerry Clayton BMW.

Guy shared experiences from his extraordinary life and provided fascinating insight into the bold decisions he made and actions he took that led to his incredible success in software development.
Following a career as a captain in the New Zealand SAS, Guy moved to the UK where he co-founded Adaytum, a worldwide leader in enterprise performance management software. He then went on to co-founded Anaplan, now one of San Francisco’s fastest growing software companies. Guy has also held directorial positions at Xero and Wynyard and last year co-founded Auckland 2040. With such invaluable experience it’s a privilege to have Guy spearheading the "Techapuna" concept, nurturing the emerging tech hub in Takapuna.
Guy concluded by sharing his own vision for Takapuna. A vision where Takpuna capitalizes on it’s point of difference, the beach. Guy believes the beach offers the potential for Takapuna to become Auckland’s premier beach promenade, offering world class dining and café experiences that will attract individuals who will then enjoy an on-trend fashion retail experience.
And if taking home new ideas and inspiration wasn’t enough, The Old Lolly Shop Takapuna were on hand with delicious goody bags for all the guests.

The Eggcellent Easter Egg Hunt
Hunting for Easter eggs (and all sorts of other goodies) was a team sport at Shore City for the Eggcellent Easter Egg Hunt.
After collecting the adorable map and goody bag, it was time for the EGGstatic kids to put their detective skills to the test and discover all the hidden treats. At the end of the hunt each child also got a free balloon animal to take home! Shore City regularly have fantastic activities for kids so be sure to check their website for upcoming events.
