Head to Hartleys for wearable style
Among the summer range currently in store at Hartleys, Shore City are many well renowned and much-loved labels. The very feminine Loobies Story collection has developed a very strong following and Random is another relatively new label by Auckland designer Michele Wade who says the focus for her collection is on consistent styling, modern quality clothing that fits well and is easy to wear. Other labels such as Juo, Scope, Not Your Daughters Jeans, Scarlett, and the on-trend LA Idol jeans also have a strong following. The Australian brand, Café Latte, is exclusive in New Zealand to the Hartleys and Vincent stores and is well known for its gorgeous colours and beautifully fitting pants. Also from Australia is the ever popular easy care Philosophy brand.
Well known Wellington designer Ashley Fogel has recently moved to Auckland to develop a range exclusively for the Hartleys and Vincent stores. This summer is the first season this brand has been in our stores under this arrangement.
The much-loved Verge range has been synonymous with Hartleys for many years and Hartleys continue to be the largest stockist of this label in Australasia.
Styling this summer ranges from a modern take on the classic through to fresh new looks that have a casual elegance.
The pant gets a makeover with many styles coming in an easy soft drape and comfortable styling. Prints are big this season. Many are strong on graphics while others feature bold floral prints. And, of course, the classic black and white still reigns supreme in solid block colours, subtle patterns, stripes
Beautiful silk and silk georgette tops and shirts are a strong feature this season. These are in both soft and bold prints which incorporate key colours from this season’s palette. These shirts and tops work so well with many of the structured and softly structured jackets available this season.
Customer service and product knowledge continues to be the cornerstone of the Hartleys brand. Store manager Galina Fredericks is a Shore local who moved here from Uzbekistan 12 years ago. She is passionate about the area, the brand and helping local women look their best. In her beautiful eastern European accent, Galina said: “The Shore is a very welcoming and friendly place and being a part of the centre here is wonderful. It has such a relaxed atmosphere and is a stylish place to shop. I love working in Takapuna, it’s like one big family here!”
Call into Hartleys at Shore City and let store manager Galina or Mollie, Fay, Georgiana or Gerry help you get the look you want this season.
