Pinehurst 2013 Prefects Officially Recognised

Congratulations to Pinehurst’s 2013 Prefects officially recognised for their outstanding commitment at a recent prefect induction assembly.
Led by Head Girl Megan Woodhead and Head Boy Jake McGregor and their deputies Deputy Head Girl Olivia Mills and Deputy Head Boy Lars Thompson, these senior student leaders play a vital role in the school and wider community; representing Pinehurst and their fellow students. They are role models who are chosen for their integrity, their character and their exceptional leadership skills - whether in the classroom, in sport or further afield.

Pinehurst Students Top the World in

Cambridge International

Examinations (CIE)

Pinehurst Senior College students and staff celebrated examination success this week with two students awarded top in the World in Cambridge International Examinations, including a top in New Zealand.  

Senior College student Julia Gessler was awarded top in the World in AS Level Art and Design, Danielle Hadwin topped the World in A Level Physical Education and Taylor Wickman came top in New Zealand in A Level Design and Technology. Aine Kelly Costello was also awarded High Achievement in A Level Spanish.

Pinehurst results continue to improve year upon year with Senior College A Level students achieving a 99% pass rate.

Executive Principal Sherida Penman Walters is thrilled with the results from the recent October-November round of Cambridge International Examinations.

“Congratulations to all Pinehurst students and teachers for yet another successful year of results. Each year our students continuously surpass expectations with this years’ results our best results to date.”
